STORY
At Temple Coffee, we believe that coffee is more than just a drink that helps you get through mornings. For us—and thousands of families around the world—coffee is an instrument for socio-economic advancement and peace. This offering comes to us from the Cencoic Cooperative, an organization in Colombia that genuinely understands and embodies the notion that coffee is integral to fostering peace and prosperity in the country. The cooperative provides nearly 3000 families with access to coffee processing tools, educational assistance, and higher bargaining power so they can sell their coffees at advantageous rates. The higher rates provide these families with greater financial stability.
Many of the members of the cooperative are also members of the indigenous Nasa tribe. The Nasa view themselves as shepherds of nature and strive to preserve their native homeland. Through coffee, and with the help of the Cencoic Cooperative, many Nasa families look towards the new era of preservation and peace. We hope you enjoy the result of their hardwork.
