Colombia Santa Maria
FLAVOR: CHOCOLATE, HIBISCUS, CHERRY
This offering comes to us from the town of Santa Maria in Northern Huila, a region known for its singular harvest period from May to July and ideal microclimate for Colombia and Caturra varietals. Many of the region's coffee trees grow at nearly 1800 meters above sea level (MASL) in the fertile, volcanic soil. The specialty coffee produced from Northern Huila is not solely a result of the region's excellent climate, but more so the result of the meticulous and dedicated producers. They work tirelessly to harvest the ripe, red cherries during their peak to perfectly capture and represent the quality the region offers. Although the rest of Colombia is producing coffee year-round, the Huila region's level of quality and the completeness of taste profile have enticed all of us at Temple. We are excited to present this coffee to you, enjoy!
