This offering comes to us from the world-renowned La Candelilla Estate Tarrazú Coffee Mill, Costa Rica's first micro-mill. La Candelilla was established in 2000 by the Sanchez family in response to the growing demand for specialty coffee and the higher profits available to smaller producers. La Candelilla produced only 650 bags of coffee in their first year, but through continuous improvements and almost two decades of experience, the estate is now producing nearly 2000 bags annually. The estate's international success ignited a substantial micro-mill revolution with over 100 micro-mills producing specialty coffee out of Costa Rica today.
