STORY
One of Temple's core values is fostering sustainable social, economic, and environmental partnerships with farmers around the globe. Although Ecuador is not one of the most prolific coffee producing countries in South America, their minimum wage practices and their amazing coffee varietals have cemented their presence in the world of specialty coffee. The La Yumbada farm is run by Christian Marlin and Rommy Idrobo high in the Ecuadorian mountains. This coffee offering is composed of the Cidra varietal, a hybrid of Red Bourbon and a Typica mutation. The Cidra varietal is most commonly found in Ecuador and offers coffee drinkers a very fruit-forward cup. Enjoy!
