STORY
This amazing lot comes to us from the Kabare Cooperative Society. This cooperative oversees 11 washing stations and has over 12,000 small-lot farmers as active members! This makes them one of the largest cooperative societies in Kenya. This particular lot was grown by 500 small-lot farmers that produce over 1.5 million pounds of coffee cherry every season. This lot is processed with fresh water from the Mukengeria River, and gets its name from ngothe (a name for the wild grass that grows by the Mukengeria River). This is the second year in a row that we have the privilege to offer this coffee from Kabare Cooperative Society. Enjoy!
