Kenya Rungeto Peaberry

This offering comes to us from the Kirinyaga region of Central Kenya and is produced by the Rungeto Farmer's Co-operative Society. The coffee is processed and milled at the Kiangoi Factory using fresh river water to wash the coffee thoroughly. The fertile volcanic soil of the mountainous region provides ideal growing conditions for high-quality specialty coffee. In addition to coffee production, the Rungeto Co-operative also operates a dairy cooling plant and a fuel station. These additional income sources enable the Co-operative to improve their infrastructure continuously, improving the quality of the coffee and the quality of life for their farmers. Enjoy!
