Panama Don Pepe Typica

Don Pepe Estate is located in the humid forests of Boquete, Panama on the slopes of Volcan de Baru. The estate was first planted by Don Enrique Vasquez, a pioneer, and founder of both the town and coffee growing in 1898. The Vasquez family is also responsible for bringing the famous Geisha varietal to the region from Costa Rica. Since then, and more than four generations later, Don Antonio Vasquez is still producing high-quality coffees sought by only the best roasters in the world. Don Antonio has also assigned 10% of the total land to preserve the first-growth rainforest. With his environmental vision and quality-focused production, Don Antonio ensures that Don Pepe Estate will continue to grow and produce some of the world’s best coffees for generations to come.
