BRAZIL SITIO JOAO NETO

Colombia Geiner Vasquez

TASTING NOTES
BODY: MEDIUM
FLAVOR: RED CHERRIES, GRAPEFRUIT, ALMOND
FINISH: SLIGHT LINGER
This offering from Geiner Vasquez is bright, balanced, and sweet. At first sip the acidity is nice and round, reminiscent of red cherries and grapefruit. Notes of almond and honey balance out the acidity as the coffee cools in the cup. The bittersweet grapefruit and luscious plum notes linger on the finish.

FARM INFO
Geiner Montano Vasquez's devotion and enthusiasm for coffee production were instilled in him by his father and uncles. Geiner was exposed to the coffee production industry when he was only ten years old, and his passion for the beautiful plant continues to grow each day. Today Geiner's son Jamer helps his father around Finca La Esperanza, cleaning drying systems and raking parchment coffee. The farm sits on 4.3 hectares and over 80% of the property is committed to growing Castillo and Colombia coffee varietals. The processing and drying infrastructure on La Esperanza is meticulously well-maintained, reflective of Geiner's commitment and dedication. Geiner recently installed a new mechanical drying system and has plans to build a dormitory for his seasonal workers. Enjoy the result of Geiner's continuous hard work and determination!
