At first sip, we couldn't resist this coffee. Brimming with rich flavors of orange blossom, blueberry, and apricot, this coffee presents the drinker with a deep, full-bodied cup. The floral aroma of sweet orange blossom transcends the cup, culminating in tart notes of blueberry and apricot. The coffee's exquisite sweetness provides a mouthwatering finish, leaving the drinker wanting more well after the final sip.
The legacy of the Sintayehu family is indistinguishable from their long history of producing fantastic coffee in the Halo Hartume kebele. Like his father before him, and as he wishes for his children after him, Mulegeta Sintayehu has tended his family's coffee farm from a very young age. Years ago, Mulegeta's father gifted him 2.5 hectares of land to establish his farm. Today, Mulegeta is the proud father of four children and husband to his wonderful wife. Mulegeta has plans to get a license for exporting and get on the radar of international buyers. Our Director of Coffee and Head Roaster purchased this coffee at a small-lot auction highlighting Ethiopian producers and we hope you enjoy this one-of-a-kind coffee.
