Guatemala El Diamante
FLAVOR: PECAN, CHERRY, CARAMEL
This coffee is warm, inviting, and delicious. Expect a sweet and smooth mouthfeel that initially fills the palate with notes of grape, cranberry, and red apple. As the coffee cools, the acidity develops into a tart cherry that highlights the caramel and pecan notes.
All aspects of production at El Diamante are managed by Patricia Diaz and her mother. Together they oversee every step of the way; from planting saplings to picking only the ripest cherries, from processing the seeds to milling and exporting. Their dedication to their craft is unmatched and it shows in the quality in the cup. Patricia Diaz gives what little spare time she has back to her community and she is loved and adored for doing so. This is the fifth year that we have been working with Patricia Diaz and with each passing season we become more impressed and more infatuated with the coffees that she produces.
