This complex coffee provides a balanced and fruit-forward cup. Notes of blackberry and grapefruit showcase the fruity and tart side of the coffee, while hints of fig bring out more sweetness.

STORY Seventy years ago, the farmers of the Kirurumwe Farmers Cooperative Society (FCS) planted their first coffee trees on the southern slopes of Mount Kenya. Less than a decade later, the farmers of the Co-op started the Kevote Factory, and today the Co-op has three wet mills and over 4,500 members. Five elected board members manage the Co-op and coordinate with the 18 other permanent staff members to ensure the continuous operations of the Co-op. The coffee produced by the Kirurumwe FCS are all hand-picked and delivered to the wet mill the same day to undergo traditional Kenya processing. Enjoy!
